Buyers Information

Fine art prints

  • Fine art prints, so called Giclée prints, are produced on a high quality and heavy weight Hähnemuhle German Etching 310 gsm Aquarelle paper. This acid- and lignin-free paper, designed for Fine Art applications, meets the most exacting requirements for age resistance. Soft feel, lightly defined felt structure and impressive pictorial depth. Matt premium inkjet coating.

  • Each print will have a small white marigin on each side for convenience during the framing process.

  • The Hahnemühle archival paper prints must be framed to be hung on a wall

  • Depending on their size, the prints will be either sent in a secured envelope or rolled and placed in a mailing tube.

  • If you are looking for dimensions that are different than listed sizes, please contact me. Please remember that the dimensions you ask for, must be in proportion with the original work.

  • It is possible to print the works on surface other than the archival paper (eg. canvas or alluminium). If you are interested, contact me for available options.

Original Works

  • All original artworks published on this website are painted by Joanna Kniaz-Hawrot. Works are made on paper, canvas or canvas boards. I use mixed techniques including inks, acrylic and oil paints, charcoal, pencil, pastels and pigments. Some of the works will also be sold as fine art prints. All reproduction and copyright is owned by me -Joanna Kniaz-Hawrot.

  • Please note that colours, shades and textures might appear different in photos than in real life. Some of the works (up to A3 size) have been scanned, and the rest photographed to show the artworks as true to the originals as possible. However, depending on the settings on your screen (contrast, color, brightness) the photographs can vary from the original painting. If you wish to see more photos of a particular painting or if you have any questions, please contact me at joanna.kniazhawrot@gmail.com   and I will help you in any way that I can.

  • Commissions: I do accept requests for abstract works in a specific colour pallette. If you have something in mind or would like some painting similar to what I had already done, contact me.

  • Discounts are possible if you have the intention of ordering more than two works.

  • Do you like one of my paintings and you would like to see how it could look on your wall?  There is a way to do it. Just send me the photo of your place and I will create a visualisation for you, at no cost.

Shipment

  • The majority of all orders will be sent within 1-3 days of purchase.

  • Within the EU most of the pieces are sent by courrier (either from Poland or Portugal, depending where particular work is at the moment), or Portuguese post (fastest option with a tracking number) or courier depending on size and weight.

  • You can always track your order with the provided tracking number.

  • Some countries may charge additional customs fees when importing your artwork. These fees are controlled by government authorities in your home country and may vary from area to area. I am responsible for shipping fees but AM NOT responsible for any customs fees, VAT, duties or extra courier handling fees for customs procedures that might occur. Unfortunately we have no control over these fees and we cannot predict what they might be prior to shipping. Please note that you will not be refunded for your order if you do not proceed with your requirements to clear your package or simply leave your package at the customs.

  • Shipping cost is included in the price for orders within the EU. If you live outside of the EU, please contact me before finalising transaction, because the final price may differ due to higher shipping costs.

Payment

  • Payments are taken through PayPal in EUR. You do not need to have a PayPal account to purchase; you can use the PayPal service to pay with your regular debit or credit card. We do not store any of your debit/credit card details.

  • If you wish to use other payment method, please contact me.

Returns and Refunds

My priority is to make you happy with your piece of art. I believe we can find a solution for almost any problem that you might have.

  • All orders can be cancelled before they are shipped. Once your order is shipped, it can not be cancelled.

  • I want you to be fully happy with your new artwork so I offer a Buy-Back agreement. If a painting is not as you expect, you have 14 days to contact me by email and request a refund. Once a return has been agreed, you are responsible for packing and arranging return delivery using the same service it was sent to you. Once the piece has been safely returned we will refund your payment within 14 days.

  • All work is carefully packed and wrapped. If you receive a work that has been damaged in transit, please contact me within 7 days and if possible keep a photograph. Be careful when unpacking and handling of the work, as any damages that arise after delivery are your sole responsibility. The works that are sent are usually protected by varnish, but please be aware that the works, especially those on paper should be handled with care. It is recommended that the works on paper are framed behind glass/plexi to ensure protection from dust and humidity.

  • If the artwork doesn’t arrive on time, please contact me and let me figure out the cause of the delay and track your package. If your package is lost, please inform me with relevant evidence and we will try to find a solution.

  • If you do not clear your parcel or simply leave it at the customs or the post office, I can not make a refund. After one month of your shipment date, we will not be able to make refunds.
